Thank you to one of the reader of this blog for informing me that we can actually view our units in Ara Hill as long as we gather at least 5 visitors together.
The reason is because they developer have already clean up some of the units and the place and do not wish visitors to dirty the place. However, if wish to measure the unit for renovation, we can gather enough people to talk to Sime Darby. Also, we can go do some busy-body check out on each other units

Hi Miss Rita, I am interested to purchase a unit of 1912sqft. I think the price has gone up from RM370/sq ft to RM440sq/ft. However, the unit is facing the roof of Villa house which block the view to the pool and south greenery.
I am not sure is it overprice than the market price. Will the unit appreciate after handover of key

Hi Simon, as far as I know, the sq/ft price is no longer at RM440sq/ft because when the 2nd phase was launched, it was already selling at about RM450sq/ft. Having said that, I believe that this development has great potential mainly because land in PJ area is getting scarce and you will not be able to find a resort style + freehold type of property in PJ area. Also, there are rumors that Tesco (probably not a rumor anymore) will be coming up in Ara Damansara and the link road to Tropicana will be opening soon. With all this in mind, I believe this location will be one of the most sought after location in PJ area in a few years time. My 2 cents worth and happy hunting.

Went there a couple days ago…
Some block 3 units have been handed over as those where over 3 years SnP. Block 4 and rest of 3 will be mid march to end march.
Block 1 & 2 will be at June/July ish time.
Also the lanscaping is nicely done with butterflies and lots of pandan leaves. So we can go make Nasi lemak more often
cannot be…my snp is due on feb13 block4.. how come I din get the key? as i was told by the lady there…all block 3&4 should get the key on early of mar2010
Visited the sales office last weekend. Was told the key-handover ceremony will not be later than 11th March. Having said that, the external painting of the building looks quite bad, with patches all over the place. Unless SDB does not intend to repaint it, else I seriously doubt about the key-handover date as they promised.
sigh.. why took them so long to complete everything… cant wait to collect the key and do the renovation
Hi Ken… how’s bad the painting? any pic? maybe they can touch up anytime after the handover…… what the owners wan now .. is the key handover…… I din receive any letter from them till today…. you said not later than 11 Mar? so when they going to inform and send letter to us….. ?
Had been to the site today. My unit is in Phase 1 (Cluster 3) Villa. Was told that the handover is likely by end march. Has anyone submitted their Tenaga application yet?
they have no firm dates for the handover…. i wonder whether arahill have gotten the CF??
Not too happy to learn dat Blk 1 & 2 will be ready by 06/07. Compared to the current office blk @ 1Utama, they r really fast, almost done up. As for AraHill…wonder wat’s the reason behind it! My excitement to move in has cool off.
